One man's description of his experience on the journey - presented in this form in the
hope that it may be of assistance to and encouragement for those on the same journey.
Written in poetic form, because that was the way it had to be, and written in sections
exploring the signposts of Hope, Trust, Acceptance, Gratitude, Discipline and Love.

It is my opinion that poetry is written to be spoken. Often it seems to me that reading
poetry is a poor substitute for hearing it spoken - and often when reading it I will speak it
out loud in an attempt to get the full impact of its meaning.
As, when I am writing poetry, the voice I hear speaking it is my own and therefore, if you
like, my poetry is written for my own voice, it seemed only sensible to produce an audio
version to accompany, or to complement the book.

This image, which has been used for the book and CD cover, captures, for me, the essence of what the book is all about. Everything about it is right, including the seagull and the footprints in the sand. A FREE postcard size version of this photograph will be sent with every order. |
